Voltas Q1 net up 1.42% at Rs 110.54 crore

NEW DELHI: Tata Group firm Voltas Ltd today reported a 1.42 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 110.54 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2015.

The company had a net profit of Rs 108.99 crore in the corresponding quarter, a year ago.

Voltas' net sales in the quarter under review stood at Rs 1,595.2 crore, down 8.96 per cent from Rs 1,752.31 crore in the same period of the last fiscal, Voltas said in a filing to the BSE.

Voltas' scrip were trading at Rs 287.20 apiece on BSE, down 6.14 per cent from its previous close.
