EBITDA grew 9% YoY to Rs 5,034 crore from Rs 4,612 crore. EBITDA margin stood at 43.1%, compared with 41.8% in Q1FY26 and 43.1% in Q4FY26.

The company said its customer base stood at 193.1 million at the end of the quarter, compared with 192.8 million in Q4FY26. This was Vodafone Idea’s first quarter of positive net subscriber addition since the merger.

Customer average revenue per user rose to Rs 195 from Rs 177 in the year-ago quarter, a growth of 10.2%. The company said this was the highest ARPU growth in the industry.

Vodafone Idea’s 4G and 5G subscriber base increased to 130.1 million from 127.4 million in Q1FY26. The company said Vi 5G is now available in more than 200 Indian cities and towns, while its 4G population coverage stands at 87%.

"During the quarter, we have delivered on all the critical business parameters we measure our success on, including subscriber addition -- first since merger -- and we will continue to drive this," he said.
