VIP Industries Q1 Net up 16.52% at Rs 26.8 crore

NEW DELHI: VIP Industries today reported a 16.52 per cent increase in its standalone net profit at Rs 26.8 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2014.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 23 crore in the April-June quarter of the previous year.
Net sales increased by 6.07 per cent during the quarter under review at Rs 328.4 crore as against Rs 309.6 crore in the corresponding period a year ago, it said in a BSE filing.
Overall expenses of the company rose 5.20 per cent to Rs 291.3 crore, as against Rs 276.9 crore a year ago.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 23 crore in the April-June quarter of the previous year.
