UTI AMC net profit falls 9%, revenue 7% to Rs 404 crore

Mumbai: UTI AMC's profit after tax fell 9% to ₹183 crore during the September quarter from ₹200 crore in the same period a year ago.

Revenue from operations fell 7% to ₹404 crore during the quarter from ₹435 crore last year. The fund house's market share in total AUM fell marginally to 5.68% during the quarter from 5.98% a year ago.

In the more profitable equity AUM, its market share fell to 4.25% from 4.99% by similar comparison. UTI AMC shares ended up 0.32% at ₹806.25 on Wednesday. Over the last year, the stock has gained 5.4%.
