UPL net profit rises 43.24 % to Rs 238 crore in Q2

UPL Ltd posted 43.24 per cent rise in net profit for the quarter ended 30-09-2017.

For the quarter under review, the company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 238 crore as against Rs compared with Rs. 166.16 crore in the same period last year.

Total consolidated revenue for the quarter came in at Rs 3770 crore, up 8.4 percent YoY from Rs 3477.71 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Income from operations stood at Rs 3770 crore, up 6.48 percent compared to the income of year-ago quarter of Rs 3540.6 crore.

UPL Ltd reported an operating profit of Rs 512 crore for the quarter ended September compared with Rs 470.71 crore a year earlier.
