United Spirits June quarter net loss at Rs 56 crore
Total income of the company declined by 10.97 per cent to Rs 1,923.90 crore during the quarter, as against Rs 2,161.05 crore for the same period of 2013.

NEW DELHI: Liquor firm United Spirits today reported a standalone net loss of Rs 55.58 crore for the three months ended June 30.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 118.13 crore during the same period of previous fiscal.
Total income of the company declined by 10.97 per cent to Rs 1,923.90 crore during the quarter, as against Rs 2,161.05 crore for the same period of previous financial year, United Spirits Ltd ( USL) said in a filing to the BSE.
USL shares were trading at Rs 2,406.50 apiece on the BSE in the afternoon trade, up 1.28 per cent from its previous close.
