Unichem Labs Q4 net up 56.5 pc at Rs 23.23 cr
Unichem Laboratories today reported 56.53 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 23.23 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012.

NEW DELHI: Unichem Laboratories today reported 56.53 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 23.23 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012.
The pharmaceutical company had posted a net profit of Rs 14.84 crore for the fourth quarter in fiscal 2010-11.
Total income of the company stood at Rs 192.97 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as against Rs 178.10 crore in the year-ago period, Unichem Laboratories said in a filing to BSE.
However, net profits of the Mumbai-based firm declined to Rs 82.46 crore for the financial year ended March 31,2012 from Rs 108.49 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income of the company stood at Rs 803.18 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012 as against Rs 764.73 crore in the previous fiscal.
Apart from its formulations business, Unichem also manufactures active pharmaceutical ingredients.
