Unichem Laboratories Q3 net up 24% at Rs 30 crore

NEW DELHI: Drug firm Unichem Laboratories today said its net profit rose 24.03 per cent to Rs 30.34 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2012.

The company had posted net profit of Rs 24.46 crore for the same period of previous fiscal, Unichem Laboratories said in a filing to the BSE. Net sales of the company rose to Rs 231.16 crore during the third quarter, as against Rs 219.77 crore during the same period of previous financial year.

For nine months ended December 31, 2012, Unichem posted net profit of Rs 98.56 crore, as compared to Rs 59.22 crore during the same period of previous fiscal. Unichem Lab scrip closed at Rs 189.60 on the BSE, down 6.05 per cent from its previous close.
