UCO Bank profit rises 10 pc in Oct-Dec
UCO Bank today reported a net profit of Rs 332.55 crore for the quarter ended December 2011, a rise of 10.3 per cent over the corresponding period last year.

KOLKATA: UCO Bank today reported a net profit of Rs 332.55 crore for the quarter ended December 2011, a rise of 10.3 per cent over the corresponding period last year.
The bank had a profit of Rs 301.24 crore in the same period last year.
Total income rose 27.83 per cent from Rs 3,108.39 crore for the quarter ended December, 2010 to Rs 3,973.62 crore for the quarter under review.
Net NPA rose 2.14 times to Rs 2,131 crore during the quarter under review as compared to Rs 992 crore for the corresponding quarter ended December, 2010.
CAR under basel II during the quarter stood at 12.33 per cent, down from 13.02 per cent in the December 2010.
The bank had a profit of Rs 301.24 crore in the same period last year.
