Tecpro Systems Q1 net loss at Rs 60 crore

NEW DELHI: Lower income led Tecpro Systems into the red with the material handling firm reporting Rs 60 crore net loss during the April-June quarter over a year ago.


The city-based firm had clocked Rs 7.03 crore net profit in the corresponding quarter a year ago.

Total income of the company fell to Rs 308.64 crore from Rs 558.15 crore recorded in the April-June quarter of 2012-13 fiscal.

While expenses came down to Rs 271.88 crore during the reporting quarter from Rs 484.44 crore a year earlier, finance costs rose by around Rs 32 crore to Rs 97 crore.

Shares of the company were trading at 29.80 apiece during afternoon trade, down 6.44 per cent over the previous closing in the BSE.
