TCS dividend! IT giant declares second interim dividend of Rs 12 per share for FY27
TCS announced a second interim dividend of Rs 12 per share for FY27 after reporting a 15% rise in Q2 net profit to Rs 13,884 crore. Revenue grew 11% to Rs 73,188 crore, while operating margin stood at 24%.

The Tata Group's IT services arm had earlier paid an interim dividend of Rs 12 per share to shareholders in July.
“We would like to inform you that at the Board Meeting held today, the Directors have declared a second interim dividend of INR 12 per Equity Share of INR 1 each of the Company, for the financial year 2026-27,” TCS said in an exchange filing.
The second interim dividend will be paid on Friday, October 30, 2026. Shareholders whose names appear in the company's Register of Members or in the records of the depositories as beneficial owners of the shares as of Wednesday, October 14, 2026, will be eligible for the payout. October 14 has been fixed as the record date for the dividend.
TCS Q2 FY27 results
TCS reported a 15% year-on-year (YoY) rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 13,884 crore for the second quarter of FY27, compared with Rs 12,075 crore in the year-ago period.
Revenue from operations rose 11% YoY to Rs 73,188 crore from Rs 65,799 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. In constant currency terms, revenue increased 0.5% quarter-on-quarter.
The company's operating margin stood at 24%, while its net margin was 19%.
TCS CEO and Managing Director K Krithivasan said the company recorded broad-based growth across international markets and most industry segments. He added that the Porsche and Best Buy deals represented a new category of transformation partnerships and that TCS was building repeatable platforms with clients to industrialise AI at scale.

TCS share price
TCS shares closed 0.42% lower at Rs 2,075.25 apiece on the BSE on Thursday, against the previous close of Rs 2,084. The stock traded in a range of Rs 2,059.40 to Rs 2,142 during the session.
On a year-to-date basis, TCS shares have declined 15.96%, while the stock has depreciated 12.45% over the past year, according to BSE Analytics.
At the current market price, TCS has a market capitalization of Rs 7,50,843.61 crore on the BSE.
