Revenue from operations fell 4% YoY to Rs 296 crore.
The sharp turnaround in profitability was largely due to exceptional items amounting to Rs 663 crore during the quarter. Excluding these, the company would have reported an operating loss.
On a sequential basis, TTML reported a profit compared with a loss of Rs 150 crore in the December quarter, indicating a significant improvement driven by one-off gains rather than core operations.
Loss before exceptional items stood at Rs 82 crore in Q4, narrowing from Rs 306 crore in the year-ago period, suggesting some operational improvement.
Total income for the quarter stood at Rs 297.28 crore, down from Rs 310.21 crore a year ago.
At the operating level, EBITDA rose 7% YoY to Rs 163 crore from Rs 152 crore. Operating profit margin improved to 43.74% from 34.98% in the year-ago quarter, reflecting cost control and better operating leverage.
Total expenses declined to Rs 134 crore from Rs 158 crore a year earlier, driven by lower operating and other expenses. Employee costs remained largely stable at Rs 21 crore. Lower costs contributed to the improvement in EBITDA despite the drop in revenue.
The company continues to face a heavy interest burden, with finance costs at Rs 215 crore during the quarter, though significantly lower than Rs 419 crore in the year-ago period.
The high debt levels continue to weigh on overall profitability, as reflected in the interest coverage ratio, which remained below 1 at 0.97.
For the full year FY26, TTML reported revenue of Rs 1,160 crore, down 11% from Rs 1,308 crore in FY25. The company posted a loss of Rs 215 crore for the year, compared with a loss of Rs 1,275 crore in the previous year.
