Software services provider Tata Elxsi today reported an 84 per cent jump in net profit to Rs 10.25 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2011.

MUMBAI: Software services provider Tata Elxsi today reported an 84 per cent jump in net profit to Rs 10.25 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2011.
It had posted a net profit of Rs 5.57 crore for the October-December period of 2010, Tata Elxsi said in a filing to the BSE.
The company's total income increased to Rs 138.74 crore during the period under review from Rs 101.28 crore in the year-ago period, an increase of 36.9 per cent.
Systems integration and support services contributed Rs 16.04 crore to revenues, while software development and services revenue stood at Rs 121.83 crore.
On a standalone basis, the company posted a net profit of Rs 11.51 crore, while its income stood at Rs 137.88 in the period under review.
Tata Elxsi is a technology design company that is part of the Tata Group. It provides a wide range of services, including software development and industrial software services.
