Sutlej June quarter net zooms over three-fold to Rs 15 cr
Sutlej Textiles and Industries on Thursday said its net profit surged over three-fold to Rs 15.54 crore for the quarter ended June 30, compared to the same period previous fiscal.

NEW DELHI: Sutlej Textiles and Industries on Thursday said its net profit surged over three-fold to Rs 15.54 crore for the quarter ended June 30, compared to the same period previous fiscal.
Net sales of the company stood at Rs 348.67 crore for the quarter ended June 30, compared to Rs 247.99 crore in the same period corresponding fiscal, Sutlej Textiles said in a statement.
"A strong domestic demand driven by the rural economy has been a boon for the Indian textile industry," Sutlej Textiles and Industries Limited chairman CS Nopany said.
Shares of Sutlej Textiles today closed at Rs 163.95 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, up 1.61 per cent from its previous close.
Net sales of the company stood at Rs 348.67 crore for the quarter ended June 30, compared to Rs 247.99 crore in the same period corresponding fiscal, Sutlej Textiles said in a statement.
"A strong domestic demand driven by the rural economy has been a boon for the Indian textile industry," Sutlej Textiles and Industries Limited chairman CS Nopany said.
Shares of Sutlej Textiles today closed at Rs 163.95 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, up 1.61 per cent from its previous close.
