Surya Roshni Q3 net profit up 40% at Rs 19 crore

NEW DELHI: Surya Roshni Ltd today posted 40.13 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 18.54 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2012.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 13.23 crore for the corresponding period of previous fiscal, Surya Roshni said in a filing to the BSE.

Net sales of the company rose to Rs 721.12 crore for the third quarter compared to Rs 597.88 crore for the same period in 2011-12 fiscal.

The company's board, which met today, also declared second interim dividend of 10 per cent, it added.

Shares of Surya Roshni today closed at Rs 72.40 on the BSE, down 1.56 per cent from their previous close.
