Supreme Infrastructure Q3 net up by 32% to Rs 25 crore

Supreme Infrastructure posted a 32% growth in net profit for Q3 at Rs 25 crore. The net profit for the same period last fiscal stood at Rs 18.95 crore.

MUMBAI: Supreme Infrastructure today posted a 32 per cent growth in net profit for the December quarter at Rs 25 crore.

The net profit for the same period last fiscal stood at Rs 18.95 crore.

Total income for the third quarter stood at Rs 410.57 crore, up 70.73 per cent compared to Rs 240.47 crore in year-ago period.

"We have added good number of orders in different geographies and across business verticals. We have begun to witness improvement in business sentiment leading us to believe that we shall soon see increased activities in the infrastructure space," Supreme Infrastructure whole-time director Vikas Sharma said in a statement here.

He further said the deal with 3i Infrastructure Fund will further improve business fundamentals for the company and create value for all stakeholders.

3i Infrastructure Fund has agreed to invest $ 61 million for a minority stake in four road BOT projects.

During the quarter, the company completed five orders worth Rs 702 crore, including the Marine project. The Supreme Infrastructure bagged Rs 630 crore worth orders (including L1 orders) in segments such as buildings, bridges and roads.
