Sundaram Brake Q3 net loss at Rs 67.44 lakh

CHENNAI: Auto components maker Sundaram Brake Linings has reported a consolidated net loss at Rs 67.44 lakh for the third quarter ended December 31, 2013-14 fiscal.
The Chennai-based company had reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 85.16 lakh during the same period of the previous year, Sundaram Brake Linings said in a BSE filing.
For the 9-month period ended December, its consolidated net profit was Rs 1.57 crore, as against Rs 5.82 crore in the year-ago period.
The total income from operations for the third quarter rose to Rs 61.81 crore from Rs 60.21 crore reported for the same period a year earlier.
For the April-December period, total income from operations grew to Rs 182.96 crore as against Rs 170.49 crore.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 170.10 apiece, up 0.06 per cent on the BSE.
