State Bank of Mysore Q4 net up 32.5 pc at Rs 164 cr

State Bank of Mysore (SBM), an associate of SBI, today posted 32.5 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 163.83 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2011.

MUMBAI: State Bank of Mysore (SBM), an associate of SBI, today posted 32.5 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 163.83 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2011.

The bank had a net profit of Rs 123.63 crore in the same quarter in the previous fiscal, SBM said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Total income of the bank rose to Rs 1,218.3 crore in the January-March quarter as compared to Rs 1,052.3 crore in the same period previous fiscal, it said.

The bank earned an interest of Rs 1,060.8 crore for the fourth quarter ended March, 2011, compared to 918.4 crore in the same period a year ago.

The bank has declared 100 per cent dividend for 2010-11. For the financial year ended March, 2010, SBM recorded net profit of Rs 500.6 crore, compared to Rs 445.7 crore in the previous fiscal, an increase of 12.3 per cent.

Total income of the bank rose to Rs 4534.2 crore for the year ended March, 2010, compared to Rs 3984.6 crore during the previous fiscal, it said.
