State Bank of Mysore Q3 Net down 6% at Rs 132 cr

Public sector lender State Bank of Mysore recorded 6 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 132 crore for the third quarter ended December, 2010.

MUMBAI: Public sector lender State Bank of Mysore (SBM) today recorded 6 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 132 crore for the third quarter ended December, 2010.

The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 141.3 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal, State Bank of Mysore said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

However, total income rose to Rs 1,154.3 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 995 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.

For the nine months ending December, 2010, the bank's net profit rose at Rs 336.7 crore against Rs 322.1 crore in the same period a year ago.
