Srei Infrastructure clocked a net profit of Rs 130.20 crore in Q2
The company's consolidated profit before tax in the quarter under review too was up at Rs 158.07 crore (Rs 49.53 crore) and total income at Rs 788 crore in Q2.
KOLKATA: Srei Infrastructure Finance reported a higher net profit of Rs 130.20 crore in the second quarter (Q2) ended September 30, 2012, compared to Rs 24.60 crore net in the earlier corresponding period.
The company's consolidated profit before tax in the quarter under review too was up at Rs 158.07 crore (Rs 49.53 crore) and total income at Rs 788 crore in Q2 FY13 (Rs 588 crore). Operating profit during quarter ended September 30, 2012, stood at Rs 231.78 crore compared to Rs 112.67 crore during the same period last fiscal.
Total consolidated asset under management in the said quarter was up by 25 % at Rs 32,505 crore from Rs 26,001 crore at the end of September 30, 2011. Consolidated disbursement stood at Rs 2,347 crore in the quarter under review compared to Rs 4,401 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
In a mediastatement issued on Friday, Srei Infrastructure Finance officials said that the improved profit before tax for the second quarter and half year in FY13 can be attributed to the company's focussed approach on the infrastructure sector and close client relationship.
