Sree Sakthi Paper Mills records improved Q1 results
Sree Sakthi Paper Mills Ltd Q1 resulta improved for fiscal 2012 as compared with the corresponding period of last year.
The production increased by 2% to 19,619 tonnes during the quarter. With better realization, the company’s total income grew 13% to Rs 49.65 crore. Cost of raw material went up by 22% yet, through various cost control measures, the company managed to post a creditable growth of 16.5% in its bottom line. The net profit went up to Rs 1.71 crore from Rs 1.46 crore
The expansion-cum-modernization of the company’s Edayar plant without any addition to equity capital is progressing according to schedule. The krima disperser installation is slated for August 2011 while the boiler-cum-cogen plant is scheduled to be commissioned by October 2011. The modernization is expected to boost the company’s profitability further.
