Sona Koyo Q2 net up 77 per cent at Rs 6.9 crore

NEW DELHI: Sona Koyo Steering Systems today reported 76.92 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 6.9 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 over the same period last fiscal.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 3.9 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011 Sona Koyo Steering Systems said in a statement.

However the consolidated net sales of the company declined to Rs 328.3 crore for the quarter under consideration from Rs 334.6 crore for the corresponding period previous fiscal.

Shares of Sona Koyo Steering Systems today closed at Rs 13.60 on BSE, up 7.85 per cent from its previous close.
