SKNL Q2 FY 11 PAT at Rs 63.87-crore
Textiles major, SKumars Nationwide (SNKL), on Friday said its net profit before minority interest rose 12.4 per cent to Rs 77.85-crore in Q2 FY 11 as against 69.25-crore in the year-ago period.
PAT after minority interest stood at Rs 63.87-crore, a press release issued here stated. Its net sales from operations increased 26.5 per cent to Rs 1,203.40-crore from Rs 951.41-crore in the year-ago period.
"We are pleased to report another encouraging quarter, with revenues up 26.5 per cent and profits up 9.3 per cent (PAT after minority interest)," SKNL's Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, Nitin Kasliwal, said.
"All our SBUs delivered healthy operating and financial performance. Belmonte in the consumer textiles segment and Reid & Taylor in the luxury textiles segment remained key contributors to the overall performance for the current quarter," he added.
For the six-months ended September 30, the company's net sales from operations were up 43.3 per cent to Rs 2,378.32-crore from Rs 1,659.53-crore in the year-ago period.
PAT after minority interest stood at Rs 126.58-crore.
