Sintex Industries Q4 Net up 6.75 per cent at Rs 161.17 crore

NEW DELHI: Textiles and plastic firm Sintex Industries today reported 6.75 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 161.17 crore for the quarter ended March 31.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 150.97 crore in the same quarter last year.

Net sales of the company during the quarter under review stood at Rs 1,982.94 crore, an increase of 41.94 per cent, compared to Rs 1,396.69 crore in the corresponding period in the previous year, the company said in a BSE filing.

Overall expenses in the quarter stood at Rs 1,707.35 crore, an increase of 34.75 per cent as against Rs 1,266.97 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Shares of Sintex Industries closed at Rs 48.85 apiece, up 3.61 per cent from their previous close on the BSE.
