MUMBAI: Simbhaoli Sugars reported a net profit of Rs 1.3 crore for the quarter ended March 31 this year.
The company had suffered a loss of Rs 17.1 crore during the year-ago period, Simbhaoli Sugars said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Net sales fell to Rs 290.24 crore during the quarter as against Rs 341.08 crore in the same quarter last year.
The shares of the company rose by 0.12 per cent to settle at Rs 41 on BSE.
