Shree Ganesh Q1 net up by Rs 81.3 crore, ties up with Bharti Walmart

The total revenue of the company increased by 89 per cent to Rs 2,572.2 crore during the quarter, a release said here today.

KOLKATA: Shree Ganesh Jewellery House today reported a net profit of Rs 81.3 crore for the Q1 ending June 30, 2011, a jump of 27 per cent as compared to the corresponding period last year.

The total revenue of the company increased by 89 per cent to Rs 2,572.2 crore during the quarter, a release said here today.

Meanwhile, the city-based jewellery house tied up with Bharti Walmart for shop-in-shop.

The company said the first such shop in the Walmart stores is expected to be operational in the second quarter of financial year 2012.

It added that the construction of a gold refinery facility at Domjur is progressing well and is expected to commence commercial production soon.
