NEW DELHI: Shree Cement today clocked nearly five-fold increase in net profit for the July-September period at Rs 228.13 crore.
The cement maker had reported Rs 38.49 crore net profit in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, it said in a BSE filing.
Revenue grew to Rs 1,323.79 crore during the quarter against Rs 856.07 crore in the July-September quarter of the last fiscal.
Net profit margin (NPM) grew to 17.23 per cent from 4.5 per cent in the year-ago period.
Shares of Shree Cement today settled at Rs 4,048.80 per share, down 0.77 per cent over the previous closing in the BSE.
