NEW DELHI: Sahara One Media and Entertainment Ltd on Friday posted 78.50 per cent dip in its net profit for the first quarter ended June 30, 2011 at Rs 46.35 lakh on the back of operational loss.
For the three months ended June 30, 2010, the company's net profit was Rs 2.14 crore, it said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The firm's net sales for the first quarter of the current fiscal also declined 32.40 per cent to Rs 21.34 crore, compared to Rs 31.57 crore in the same period last financial year.
Shares of the company's closed at Rs 150 per share, down 3.32 per cent from the previous close on the BSE.
