Religare Enterprises trims Q3 loss to Rs 18 crore

NEW DELHI: Religare Enterprises has narrowed its standalone losses to Rs 18.06 crore in third quarter ended December 2014.

The company had registered a loss of Rs 74.74 crore in the October-December quarter of 2013-14 fiscal.

Total income during the quarter stood at Rs 18.28 crore from Rs 85.95 crore in year-ago period.

On a consolidated basis, the firm registered a profit of Rs 93.27 crore in Q3FY15. The firm reported a loss of Rs 23.66 crore in the same quarter of previous fiscal.

"Total income (consolidated) has increased from Rs 893.51 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2013 to Rs 1,133.22 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2014," it said in a filing to the BSE.

Religare Enterprises Limited (REL) is a business conglomerate with interests in diversified financial services.

It provides financial services including loans to SME's, capital market services, wealth management, life and health insurance and asset management.

Shares of the company today closed 5.04 per cent higher at Rs 370.70 apiece on the BSE.
