Reliance Power Q3FY16 net profit rises 38% to Rs 352 crore

MUMBAI: Reliance Power reported a net profit of Rs 352 crore in the third quarter of 2015-16, up 38% year-on-year, driven by higher generation.
The company total income increased to Rs 2,666 crore in the December quarter, up 46% on year.
The company’s Sasan Ultra Mega Power Project in Madhya Pradesh generated 8,158 million units operating at plant load factor of 93.3%.
The Rosa Power Plant in Uttar Pradesh generated 1,342 million units operating at an availability of 93%. Its Butibori Power Plant in Maharashtra, generated 1,022 million units, at 99.5% availability.
Reliance Power has operational capacity of 5,945 megawatts.
