REC Q1 Results: Net profit dips over 6% to Rs 4,193 crore
State-owned finance company REC Ltd on Friday reported an over six per cent dip year-on-year in its consolidated net profit at Rs 4,192.76 crore in the June quarter of FY27, citing lower interest income.

The consolidated net profit stood at Rs 4,465.71 crore in the quarter ended June 2025, according to an exchange filing.

Total income of the company decreased to Rs 14,469.49 crore in the reporting quarter from Rs 14,823.98 crore recorded in the same period a year ago.


Interest income on loan assets declined to Rs 13,888.18 crore in the reporting quarter from Rs 14,271.47 crore in the same period a year ago.

The board also approved the first interim dividend of Rs 4.25 per equity share of Rs 10 each for the financial year 2026-27.

The record date to determine the eligibility of shareholders for the payment of said interim dividend is Friday, July 31, 2026.

The interim dividend shall be paid on or before August 23, 2026.

The board also fixed the record date as August 14, 2026, for reckoning the eligibility of shareholders for the payment of the final dividend of Rs 1.55 per equity share for the financial year 2025-26.

The final dividend shall be paid on or before September 24, 2026.
