PNC Infratech September-quarter net down 18.22% at Rs 17.81 crore

NEW DELHI: NC Infratech today reported 18.22 per cent drop in consolidated net profit at Rs 17.81 crore for the quarter ended September 30 on increase in depreciation on account of Kanpur-Kabrai BOT project.
The company's net profit in the year-ago period was Rs 21.78 crore, it said in the regulatory filing.
The decline in profit was on account of a more than 100 per cent increase in depreciation, resulting mainly from commissioning of the company's Kanpur-Kabrai BOT project, it said.
The consolidated total income from operations of the company increased to Rs 556.70 during the quarter-under review, over Rs 402.05 crore in the year-ago period.
PNC Infratech is an infrastructure, construction, development and management company with expertise in execution of major infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, flyovers and airport runways.
