Plethico Pharma Q4 dips 71 % to Rs 26.46 crore

NEW DELHI: Plethico Pharmaceuticals today said its consolidated net profit declined by 71.04 per cent to Rs 26.46 crore for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2010, over the same period previous fiscal.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 91.37 crore in the same period last fiscal, Plethico Pharmaceuticals said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange ( BSE).

The company's net sales rose to Rs 413.36 crore in the fourth quarter ended December 31, compared to Rs 377.27 crore in the same period previous fiscal.

The company has declared a dividend of 25 per cent or Rs 2.50 per share for the year ended December 31, 2010.

The firm has reported consolidated net profit of Rs 244.39 crore for the year ended December 31, 2010, compared to Rs 216.92 crore in last fiscal.

The company's net sales rose to Rs 1,519.27 crore for the year ended December 31, 2010, compared to Rs 1248.52 crore in last year.

Shares of Plethico Pharmaceuticals today closed at Rs 339.95 on BSE, up 0.04 per cent from its previous close.
