Piramal Life Sciences Dec quarter net loss at Rs 25.68 crore

MUMBAI: Piramal Life Sciences, a research and development arm of Piramal Group, today posted a decline in net loss by 30.14 per cent to Rs 25.68 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2010 over the same period last fiscal.

The company had a net loss of Rs 36.76 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2009, Piramal Life Sciences said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

During the quarter under review, the company's net sales registered an over 11-fold jump in its net sales to Rs 13.98 crore from Rs 1.22 crore posted in the year-ago period.
