Piramal Glass clocks consolidated net profit of Rs 3 cr in FY 10

MUMBAI: Piramal Glass has clocked a consolidated net profit of Rs 3 crore in FY 10 as against a loss of Rs 107 crore in the year-ago period.

For the same period, the company posted a revenue jump (consolidated) of 9.4 per cent to Rs 1,104 crore from Rs 1,009 crore in the year-ago period, a press release issued here today stated.

Piramal Glass is a leading manufacturer of flaconnage for the cosmetics and perfumery, specialty food and beverages and the pharmaceutical industry.

In Q4 FY 10, the company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 12.2 crore while consolidated sales for the same period rose 8.4 per cent from Rs 261.7 crore to Rs 283.6 crore, the release said.
