Panacea Biotec Q2 net loss at Rs 56 crore

NEW DELHI: Panacea Biotec today reported a net loss of Rs 56.27 crore for the second quarter ended September 30.

The company had posted a net loss of Rs 19.11 crore during the same period of previous fiscal.

Net sales of the company, however, rose to Rs 100.73 crore during the second quarter, compared to Rs 96.67 crore during the same period of previous fiscal, Panacea Biotec Ltd said in a filing to the BSE.

For the six months ended September 30, the company's net loss stood at Rs 117.19 crore, while the same was Rs 85.09 crore during the corresponding period of previous fiscal.

Shares of Panacea Biotec today closed at Rs 102.40 apiece on the BSE, up 1.14 per cent from the previous close.
