Page Industries net profit up by 27% at Rs 19.91 cr in Q3

The company recorded sales of Rs 172.10 crore for the quarter ended December 31, an increase of 28 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.

MUMBAI: Page Industries Ltd a leading manufacturer of innerwear and leisurewear for men and women in India on Friday said its net profit jumped by 27 per cent at Rs 19.91 crore in the quarter ended December 2011.

The company recorded sales of Rs 172.10 crore for the quarter ended December 31, an increase of 28 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.

For the 9 month period ending December 2011, the company registered sales of Rs 529.12 crore, a growth of 39 percent, while the net profit for the same period was Rs 72.93 crore, a growth of 60 percent, a company statement said here.

Page Industries is engaged in the manufacturing, distribution and marketing of innerwear and leisurewear for men and women. The company is the exclusive licensee of Jockey International Inc. (USA) in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and UAE and for Speedo International Limited (UK) in India.
