OnMobile Global April-June quarter down 25% to Rs 9.52 crore

MUMBAI: OnMobile Global today said its net profit has dipped over 25 per cent to Rs 9.52 crore for the quarter ended June 30.

The telecom value-added services provider had posted net profit of Rs 12.78 crore in the same period last year.

Total income from operations for the reported quarter was, however, up over 35 per cent at Rs 185.21 crore as against Rs 136.41 crore in the same period last year, OnMobile said in a BSE filing.

The net profit was impacted by a tax expense of Rs 7.12 crore (compared to Rs 3.72 crore in Q1 of FY2011-12), it said.
