NTPC Q2 profit slips marginally to Rs 2,426 crore YoY, revenue up 13%

State-run NTPC on Friday reported a marginal 0.51 per cent fall in standalone profit at Rs 2,426.02 crore for the quarter ended September 30. The company had posted a profit of Rs 2,438.60 crore in the year ago period.
Total revenue from operations stood at Rs 22,261 crore in the quarter under review against Rs 19,698.75 crore last year. Revenue jumped 13 per cent on a yearly basis.

Ebitda margin came in at 25.1 per cent against 27.6 per cent a year ago.
