NIIT reports 8.52% drop in net profit at Rs 61.51 crore in Q4

NIIT posted on Wednesday reported a 8.52 per cent fall in net profit for the quarter ended 31-03-2016 .

For the quarter under review, the company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 61.51 crore as against Rs 67.24 crore in the same period last year.

Total consolidated revenue for the quarter came in at Rs 1187.66 crore, up 17.96 per cent YoY from Rs 1,006.85 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Total revenue stood at Rs 1,200.12 crore, up 18.3 per cent compared to the income of year-ago quarter of Rs 1,014.49 crore.

The stock was trading at Rs 88.55 on NSE, up 4.85 per cent .
