CHENNAI: Neyveli Lignite Corporation today reported 3.43 per cent increase in profit after tax for the financial year ending March 31, 2013 at Rs 1,459.75 crore.
The Tamil Nadu based company's net profit stood at Rs 1,411.33 in 2011-12, which was the highest in any year of its inception, Neyveli Lignite Corporation Chairman and Managing Director B Surender Mohan told reporters here.
The total turnover of the company for the financial year ending March 31, 2013 rose by 14.86 per cent to Rs 5,590.07 crore from Rs 4,866.85 crore registered during the same period of previous year.
The board of directors at its meeting held today has recommended a final dividend of 18 per cent of Rs 1.80 per share, he said.
