Natco Q3 net profit zooms five-fold

NEW DELHI: Natco Pharma on Tuesday reported an over fivefold jump in its consolidated net profit to Rs 195.08 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2016 mainly on account of Oseltamivir sales in the US.

Natco had posted a net profit after non-controlling interests of Rs 36.93 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.

Consolidated total income from operations rose to Rs 679.01 crore for the quarter as against Rs 288.09 crore a year ago. Natco declared second interim dividend of Rs 6 on each equity share of Rs 2 each for 2016-17.
