Natco Pharma Q1 net up 69.7 per cent to Rs 47.65 crore

NEW DELHI: Natco Pharma today reported 69.75 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 47.65 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2016.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 28.07 crore for the April-June quarter of the last fiscal.

Its consolidated net sales were up 38.02 per cent to Rs 297.71 crore during the period under review as against Rs 215.69 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal, Natco Pharma informed BSE.

Meanwhile in a separate filing, Natco Pharma said that its board in a meeting held today recommended payment of an interim dividend of Rs 0.75 on each equity share of Rs 2 each for 2016-17.

Shares of Natco Pharma ended 1.65 per cent down at Rs 625.80 on BSE.
