Nagarjuna Fertilizer' Dec qrt net up two-fold at Rs 33.37 cr

Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd today reported a more than two-fold jump in its net profit to Rs 33.37 crores for the quarter ended December 31, 2010.

NEW DELHI: Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd today reported a more than two-fold jump in its net profit to Rs 33.37 crores for the quarter ended December 31, 2010.

It had posted a net profit of Rs 12.13 crore in the corresponding period previous fiscal, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Nagarjuna's net sales rose by 40 per cent to Rs 854.58 crore for the period under consideration as against Rs 610.71 crore for the same period previous year.

A flagship of the Nagarjuna group, the company's portfolio of products and services include macro and micro fertilisers, farm management services and micro irrigation solutions.
