Nagarjuna Construction Company net profit declines 35 per cent in April-June
Nagarjuna Construction Company, today said its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended June 30 dropped by nearly 35 per cent to Rs 20.33 crore.
NCC had reported a net profit of Rs 31.28 crore during the same period last year.
Turnover for the quarter registered a growth of 12 per cent to Rs 1,817 crore, against Rs 1,625 crore.
As per the financial statement issued by the company, cost of raw material consumed has gone up by nearly Rs 228 crore during the quarter to Rs 742 crore.
In the current year, the company has so far secured orders of Rs 2,001 crore and the order book stood at Rs 20,520 crore at the end of the quarter.
NCC shares closed at Rs 39.15 apiece, up 1.69 per cent over previous close on the BSE.
