MRF reports marginal dip in profit at Rs 89.85 cr

CHENNAI: Tyre manufacturer MRF today reported a marginal dip in their net profits at Rs 89.85 crore for the quarter ending March 31, 2011.

The Chennai-based company reported net profits at Rs 95.82 crore during the same period previous year, MRF said in a statement.

For six months ended March 31, 2011 the net profit of the company also dipped to Rs 192.03 crore from Rs 215.23 crore, it said.

The net sales of the company for the quarter ending March 31, 2011 stood at Rs 2,381.56 crore as against Rs 1,767.58 crore it said.

For six months ended March 31, 2011 the net sales of the company grew to Rs 4,547.36 crore from Rs 3,421.42 crore it said.
