MRF net up 70% at Rs 618.77 crore for year ended September 2011

CHENNAI: Tyre major MRF has reported 73 per cent jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 618.77 crore for the year ended September 30.
The company had reported consolidated net profit of Rs 357.50 crore in the year-ago period.
The consolidated net sales of the company for the year ending September 30, 2011 stood at Rs 9,743.98 crore, as against Rs 7,458.73 crore in the corresponding period a year ago, MRF Ltd said in a filing to the BSE.
The company's board at its meeting held today, has recommended a final dividend of Rs 19 per share.
