MindTree Q2 net at Rs 23.24 cr

The consolidated revenues stood at Rs 384.38 crore in Q2 FY'11, MindTree said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

MUMBAI: IT services firm MindTree on Tuesday said its net profit has declined to Rs 23.24 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2010.

The company's net profit stood at Rs 49.88 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.

The consolidated revenues stood at Rs 384.38 crore in Q2 FY'11, MindTree said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Since the current quarter figures are inclusive of MindTree Wireless (formerly Kyocera Wireless India), which was acquired by the company with effect from October 1, 2009, the numbers are not comparable with last year, it added.

While product engineering accounted for Rs 145.49 crore in terms of revenues in Q2 FY'11, IT services and Next in Wireless (NIW) verticals accounted for Rs 219.19 and Rs 19.7 crore, respectively.

On standalone basis, the company's net profit stood at Rs 39.57 crore, while revenues stood at Rs 364.91 crore in the second quarter of the ongoing fiscal.
