MindTree March quarter net profit at 32 cr
IT firm MindTree today reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 32 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2010.
“The current year figures are not comparable with the previous year's as the acquisition of a company was effective October 1, 2009,” Mind-Tree said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange. Revenues of the company stood at Rs 391.2 crore during January-March quarter.
It had revenues of Rs 344.4 crore in the year ago period. The board has proposed a final dividend of 12.5% or Rs 1.25 per equity share of par value of Rs 10 each for the year ended March 31, 2011. For the year ended March 31, 2011, the company posted a net profit of Rs 101 crore.
It had a net profit of Rs 214.8 crore in a year-ago period. Shares of MindTree closed at Rs 391 on BSE on Thursday, up 1.30 per cent from the previous close.
