Medanta Q4 Results: Net profit jumps 26% YoY to Rs 127.3 crore

​Global Health (Medanta) reported 26% year-on-year (YoY) jump in net profit to Rs 127.3 crore in Q4FY24 due to increase in revenue growth from matured and new hospitals, along with higher patient volumes.

Global Health (Medanta) reported 26% year-on-year (YoY) jump in net profit to Rs 127.3 crore in Q4FY24 due to increase in revenue growth from matured and new hospitals, along with higher patient volumes.

Revenue rose 13% YoY to Rs 836.1 crore.The earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 8% YoY to Rs 206.8 crore. The EBITDA margins remained stable at 24.7%.

Average occupied bed days increased by 9% y-o-y, representing an occupancy of 59% in Q4FY24.


Average revenue per occupied bed (ARPOB) grew by 4% y-o-y to Rs 63,063.

In-patient volume increased by 10% and out-patient volume increased by 11% y-o-y.

Medanta has a net cash surplus of Rs. 772 crore as March 31, 2024.

Medanta has a network of five hospitals currently in operation in Gurgaon, Indore, Ranchi, Lucknow, and Patna having 2,823 installed beds as on March 31, 2024. It also has one hospital under-construction in Noida.
